This twilight panorama of Atlanta, Georgia, was taken by James Blakeway. On the left side of the panorama is the area known as Midtown. The three tallest buildings in Midtown, from left to right, are Promenade II, 1180 Peachtree (commonly referred to as Symphony Tower), and One Atlantic Center. The tallest building on the right side of the panorama is Bank of America Plaza, with its brightly lit, pointed roof. To the far right is the Georgia Dome with its white fiberglass fabric roof, home to the Atlanta Falcons football team. Atlanta was incorporated in 1845 and, today, is a major business city and transportation hub, with the busiest airport in the world.
