Centered in New York Harbor is the Statue of Liberty, which was dedicated in 1886 as a gift of international friendship from the people of France, to the people of the United States. To the right, spanning the East River, are the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges. The Empire State Building is visible with its red, white and blue lighting. Just right of the Empire State Building is the Art Deco styled Chrysler Building with its pyramid-shaped roof. The World Trade Center once stood in Lower Manhattan in the area behind the Statue of Liberty.
