Poster Caption: This panoramic photograph of New York was taken by James Blakeway. It features the area known as Midtown from across the East River. The tallest building in New York is the Empire State Building, seen in this panorama with red, blue and yellow lighting. The Chrysler Building, with its Art Deco style, is centered in the photograph. Both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building were finished in the early 1930’s. Further right, with its sloping roof, is the brightly lit Citigroup Center. In the distance, on the left, is New York’s financial district, the area in which the World Trade Center once stood.
